Minutes

05
Same Day
If your physician determines you are a candidate for care, you may be able to start the same day. You will leave with a clear, personalized solutions plan.
06
Ongoing
Regular follow-ups to monitor progress, adjust protocols, and ensure optimal results. We’re with you every step of the way.
Plan for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for your first visit, which includes appointment, examination, and lab work. Many patients leave with their care plans the same day. Book your visit in about 5 minutes.
Bring a list of current medications, any recent lab work or medical records and a list of questions or concerns you'd like to discuss.
While many patients see improvements within a few weeks, optimal results may take 3-6 months to manifest as your hormone levels stabilize. Individual results will vary.
We recommend follow-up appointments every 3-6 months for lab testing and protocol optimization. Most patients find the ongoing care convenient and worth the investment in their health. Still have questions about the process? Visit our FAQ page for answers.

Telehealth TRT services have made testosterone care more accessible — but accessible is not the same as complete. When you use a telehealth service, a remote provider reviews a questionnaire and orders a lab kit that arrives by mail. Results come back days later. A follow-up call is scheduled. Treatment begins weeks after your first contact.
At Men’s Wellness Centers, you come in. Blood is drawn on-site. Results are ready in 30 to 45 minutes. A physician — not a patient coordinator or a PA — sits down with you and walks through exactly what your labs show and what your options are. If treatment is appropriate and you want to start, you can leave with a plan the same day.
That difference matters most for men with ED or sexual health concerns — a telehealth evaluation cannot examine you physically or rule out contributing factors that require hands-on assessment. It also matters for men on GLP-1 weight loss programs, where monthly in-person monitoring catches side effects and protocol adjustments far faster than a scheduled video call.
We do not offer telehealth. That is a deliberate choice. The men who come to us are choosing in-person physician care — and that is exactly what we provide, at all three Virginia locations, without a referral, the same day you walk in.
