Men’s Wellness Centers, LLC is founded on an unwavering commitment to patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and the integrity of the patient-provider relationship. This document outlines our model of care, which is designed to meet the highest standards of medical practice and regulatory compliance. Our policies are not just rules; they are the framework that ensures every patient receives safe, responsible, and effective care.
Our model of care is built on the foundational principle that legitimate medical care requires a direct, in-person evaluation. We believe this is essential for accurate diagnosis and the development of a safe and appropriate treatment plan.
A comprehensive, in-person medical evaluation with one of our Virginia-licensed healthcare providers is an absolute prerequisite to receiving any treatment. No prescriptions will be issued without this initial evaluation.
We do not issue prescriptions based on online questionnaires or remote-only consultations. Our practice is not a “telemedicine” or “online pharmacy” service. All prescribing decisions are made in the context of an established patient-provider relationship that begins with an in-person visit.
Men’s Wellness Centers, LLC is a specialty medical practice focused on men’s health and wellness. It is important for patients to understand both the services we provide and the limitations of our practice.
We provide specialized medical services within our area of expertise at our physical clinic locations.
We are not a primary care practice and do not provide emergency medical services. Patients are expected to maintain a relationship with a primary care provider for their general health needs.
Our prescribing practices are designed to be fully compliant with all federal and state laws, including those set forth by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
All prescriptions are issued for a legitimate medical purpose by a licensed provider acting in the usual course of professional practice after an in-person medical evaluation.
When the medical evaluation indicates that a treatment involves a medication classified as a controlled substance, we adhere to the strictest regulatory standards. In accordance with the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act of 2008 and its implementing regulations, the prescribing of controlled substances requires an in-person medical evaluation. Our model of care is explicitly designed to comply with this federal mandate.
Patient safety is our highest priority. If you experience any unexpected side effects from a medication prescribed by our practice, please contact us immediately.
We are also required to encourage the reporting of adverse events to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). You can do so through the FDA MedWatch program.
FDA MedWatch: https://www.fda.gov/safety/medwatch-fda-safety-information-and-adverse-event-reporting-program or call 1-800-FDA-1088.
All clinical services are provided under the direct supervision of our licensed medical staff to ensure the highest quality of care.
